The big question....
...has been asked and answered...which means there are two very happy people in the form of Greg and Tracey, who can now call themselves an engaged couple! We were away camping for the weekend so it was very romantic - campfire roaring, stars and moon above us, a babbling brook nearby - just lovely! It's taken some getting used to! Especially on Sunday, while we were still away and so the only two people who knew, so we'd keep looking at each other and asking if we still wanted to marry each other! Needless to say, we both still do!
No further plans yet, and certainly no dates - I think we still need to get used to this (even if it has been a long time coming, it's also going to take some time to feel real!).
So now the fun of telling people, and sharing our joy with all our friends and family. We got home late on Sunday and I was tired and oddly, a little bit nervous about telling people (me - who's wanted this for so long?!!!). But Greg bit the bullet, stopped to buy a bottle of champagne and around to my parents we went, with something much better to drink than the coffee they started to offer us! We then rang Greg's mum, and in between brothers and sisters-in law, have started to tell our friends.
Which makes it so exciting! The more people who know, the more fun I'm having. This is so great - but imagine the fun I'll have in planning a wedding!
Below is a photo of the location (we've even saved it into the GPS for posterity!), and a timer photo of the newly engaged couple - about 10 hours after the big question......:-)
