How we've occupied our time since the last post....

It's been two months since our last post, which is very slack. I can't even say we have been as busy as we were towards the end of last year (funny, that!) but the days go by and time gets away from us...must be a sign we're getting older :-(

The most exciting news from the last two months, was the birth of our niece, Philippa Sarah Mallett, born on January 22 in Canberra. Eleanor and Philippa are doing well and Stu has embraced fatherhood in all ways. Last weekend we finally made it to Canberra to meet little Philippa. She is a very happy baby, doing all the right things. We enjoyed our time with her and look forward to having her visit our home within the next month or so (I'm sure she'll bring Mummy and Daddy to visit too).

Other than that, we have been busy with our jobs. I didn't realise quite how busy this new job would be when I took it on, but I'm adapting. My days are certainly not dull! We're also trying to spend a lot of time with our friends Dave and Mairead who are moving to Ireland shortly. This will be hard for us when they're gone - we'll miss them dearly, and we'll miss seeing their sone Conor grow up. Over the recent long weekend, we spent a very hot weekend at Lake Eildon - we swam, we drank (sometimes we did both at the same time!), Greg gave Conor driving lessons, but mostly, we spent quality time together.

The boys preparing to teach Alistair all about donuting!
Swimming and drinking beer - see, you can do both at once!

That's about it for the moment. Married life is treating us well and we're still very happy! Until next time !
